Improving IPC in MSF hospitals through learning I AMR Learning initiative

Moses Aliga Malish, Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Supervisor at Kajo Keji Hospital in South Sudan, shares how he strengthened infection prevention and control in his hospital. While participating in the Antimicrobial Resistance Learning Initiative of the MSF Academy for Healthcare, Moses applied his learning directly in the workplace through work-based assignments. He introduced new measures to improve infection prevention practices, train staff, and help tackle antimicrobial resistance. One of his initiatives, the IPC Champions Cup, motivates staff to follow and apply infection prevention and control guidelines in their daily work. Moses shows how practical learning can lead to change in healthcare settings, improving patient safety, reducing hospital-acquired infections, and strengthening the fight against antimicrobial resistance. https://academy.msf.org/
