HURIDOCs has been featured by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, and Caribou Digital to showcase eight powerful examples of #ResponsibleAI in action, spanning sectors like agriculture, health, education, and human rights. Here are three responsible practices in AI for development highlighted in the report: 👉Do no harm. Many of the organisations we interviewed are taking it slow and integrating AI with strict oversight. 👉Keep humans in the loop. Ensure AI doesn’t operate without human guidance for quality assurance purposes. 👉Pursue fairness and inclusivity by reducing possible biases while using AI tools, by using and refining open source tools AI, and by sharing findings with the AI4D community of practice.
