In Laos, dengue remains a major public health challenge. This short video was filmed during the second phase of implementation of the World Mosquito Program’s work in Lao PDR, building on a 2023 pilot in parts of Vientiane. You will meet community members, Village Health Volunteers and partners delivering the work now, and see how the program is expanding with the goal of protecting more than 1.2 million people. WMP is working alongside the Lao PDR Ministry of Health and Save the Children International to deliver this program with communities.
