Bottlenose Dolphins at Mexico's Revillagigedo Archipelago
Far out in the Pacific Ocean lies Mexico's Revillagigedo Archipelago. The smallest of its four islands, Roca Partida, is a seascape of abundant life, where resident bottlenose dolphins wheel and leap in playful curiosity. Part of a submerged volcanic range, its rock walls are adorned with colourful corals, sponges and anemones, creating an oceanic beacon for migratory megafauna like dolphins, sharks and whales that use it as a navigational landmark, feeding ground, and cleaning station.
