'Shaping marine conservation in CMRN' | SOSF Ocean Storytelling Writing Grant Winner Wenzel Pinto
Wenzel Pinto's first international journey landed him on the shores of Cameroon, West Africa. An Ocean Storytelling Writing Grant Winner, he arrived eager to explore the similarities and differences between his work at Lakshadweep, an archipelago in India, and Littoral Cameroon. Here, in a country with such dizzying diversity in ecosystems and habitats that it's dubbed 'Africa in miniature', is where Wenzel met African Marine Conservation Organisation @AMMCO_Siren founder Aristide Takoukam Kamla. He tracked Aristide's conservation journey; a trail blazed to usher in the next generation of conservationists.
