Can AI support health care workers in delivering better care? In Nairobi, Kenya, clinicians are already using an AI-enabled tool to support diagnosis and manage patient care more efficiently. Now, PATH and our partners are launching a groundbreaking clinical trial to evaluate whether AI-powered decision support can improve patient outcomes, reduce misdiagnoses, and enhance clinician workflows in real-world health care settings. This study will rigorously assess AI’s role in supporting health care workers—because innovation must be tested, evidence-based, and built to empower, not replace, clinicians.
