FOREXT Fridays: What is a Marteloscope?
A Marteloscope is a designated forest area where every tree is tagged, measured, and mapped. Data on microhabitats, such as cavities, deadwood, fungi, lichens, and nests, are recorded alongside economic data such as wood quality and price.
On 26 June at 13:00 CEST, FOREXT Fridays presented two Marteloscope cases from Ireland and Germany.
