After completing the Hertog War Studies Program (HWSP), students have the opportunity to participate on the Advanced War Studies Program. The Advanced War Studies Program builds upon alumni’s knowledge of war and continues applying the levels of war analytical framework to other historical battles within a classroom setting or on a battlefield staff ride. In Fall 2024, alumni analyzed the planning and execution of the D-Day Operations, visiting historical sites in London, Portsmouth, and the beaches of Normandy.
