In remote corners of Afghanistan, help is just a call away. With support from the Government of the United Kingdom, UNFPA’s 24/7 Midwifery Helpline is aiding midwives to manage complicated deliveries with confidence. Since 2024, it has supported 44,000 births—saving lives, one call at a time.
