Every day more than 30,000 tonnes of plastic enter our ocean. Once in our ocean, plastic can reach some of the most remote and fragile ecosystems on Earth. Our rivers and oceans are being suffocated, our food, air and water contaminated, and marine and other wildlife are being killed.
