Welcome to On the Move Conversations: Migration Research Meets Practice
What shapes migration and mobility today? On the Move Conversations is the podcast of the nccr – on the move, Switzerland’s National Centre of Competence in Research on migration and mobility. For 12 years, the nccr – on the move led by the University of Neuchâtel, and supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation, has brought together more than 180 researchers to explore why and how people move and how mobility shapes our societies, in Switzerland and beyond. In English, French, and German, this series brings nccr – on the move researchers and practitioners into dialogue on the issues shaping migration and mobility today. From migration narratives and digital asylum systems to labour market discrimination, social cohesion, and the legacy of the Covid-19 pandemic, each episode connects research to real-world questions and shows why it matters for public debate, policy, practice, and everyday life.
