In 2022, Pakistan experienced devastating flooding that submerged 1/3 of the country, and recent figures after the flood report that 26.5 million children are out of school with 74% in rural areas. The Pakistan Education Sector Working Group is pioneering Anticipatory Action approaches to education funded by Education Cannot Wait to minimize the disruption to children’s learning.
