Tuberculosis has affected humans for thousands of years. But today, drug-resistant TB is creating new challenges for doctors and researchers. In this episode of ‘When Science Finds a Way’, host Alisha Wainwright explores the global fight against drug-resistant tuberculosis. Professor Salome Charalambous explains the difficulties of treating the disease, while Professor Nazir Ismail discusses the added challenges faced in countries with limited healthcare resources.
