BALI OCEAN DAYS PODCAST TALK SHOWS is a monthly program developed by Sky Blue Sea Foundation and Darmawan Associates in partnership with the Coral Triangle Center and Metro TV, our official media partner @metrotvtoday. Our new podcast highlights Indonesia-based organizations that share values of ecological transition, nature conservation and protection of communities in order to lower carbon emissions, preserve biodiversity and mitigate climate change. Day after day, one step at a time, but with a clear long-term vision to promote a sustainable future on our Blue Planet. We want to raise awareness and educate about coastal and marine ecosystems and their critical role in sustaining life on earth, but also more generally about what it means to foster sustainable development in respect of communities, all living creatures and our environment. We want to inspire the green leaders of tomorrow, develop networking opportunities and initiate collaborations between public and private decision-makers, impact entrepreneurs, NGOs, academics and scientists. We welcome Edi Frommenwiler, a living legend of the Indonesian diving and liveaboard industries. Founder of Pindito cruises, Edi is an inspiring explorer passionate about sharing a lifetime in the ocean to educate children and adults about marine biodiversity and protection of endangered species. Edi has taken thousand of dives around Indonesian seas during a period of 30 years, most of them with a camera in hand. 60,000 underwater films, documenting more than 1,000 marine species ranging from the smallest pigmy seahorses to the largest whales. From this unique collection of magnificent images, Edi has given birth to the Grand Blue Project, the most comprehensive interactive video library showcasing Indonesia's underwater biodiversity.
