CTC joins the 39th General Meeting of ICRI, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia and the General Organization for Conservation of Coral Reefs and Turtles in the Red Sea (SHAMS), marking the first General Meeting held under the chairmanship of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. As a global partnership dedicated to preserving and protecting coral reefs and associated ecosystems, ICRI will bring together members from around the world in a virtual meeting to finalise and adopt the “Plan of Action: 2025–2027 – Accelerating Action #ForCoral,” while also sharing achievements, knowledge, and experiences, and setting the course for future conservation, protection, and restoration efforts. CTC has been part of this global initiative since officially becoming an ICRI member in 2018 during the General Meeting in Monaco, chaired by Indonesia’s Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Susi Pudjiastuti, alongside H.S.H.
