Financing of the International Courts - The 2nd Tripartite Judicial Dialogue

At the 2nd Tripartite Judicial Dialogue held in Arusha, Tanzania, participants addressed the critical issue of sustainable financing for international and regional courts in Africa, the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights (AfCHPR), the East African Court of Justice (EACJ), and the Community Court of Justice, ECOWAS (CCJ). The discussions highlighted that adequate financial, human, and technological resources are essential to safeguard judicial independence, effectiveness, and sustainability.
