Elimirwa Brian William runs an electronics shop in Matuga, Uganda, offering mobile phone services, solar installation, and videography. After starting his business three years ago, he took out a Youth Enterprise Loan through FINCA’s Opportunity Rising program. With that support, he has been able to add new products, expand his inventory, and reach more customers. Along the way, he has built a trusting relationship with his loan officer, boosting his confidence in running his business and planning for what comes next. Brian’s dream is to build the biggest electronics shop in his community, a space where people come together in their daily lives not only to buy and repair devices, but to meet, connect, and feel part of something bigger.
