In recent years, flooding in South Sudan has increased in frequency and intensity resulting in the change of its landscape. IOM and the Government of South Sudan is leading a large-scale flood mitigation project in Bentiu under the Enhancing Community Resilience and Local Governance Project -Phase II to protect communities.
