Patrick Stanton, Executive Director of the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership, shares how support from the Mott Foundation helped afterschool programs across Massachusetts navigate resources and processes during the pandemic — ensuring they could continue delivering programs and essential services to communities. The Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership is part of the 50 State Afterschool Network, launched with Mott Foundation leadership to expand access to high-quality afterschool programming for all young people. Stanton, an experienced researcher, has led initiatives with the Afterschool and Out-of-School Time Coordinating Council and advanced the afterschool field statewide to strengthen opportunities for children and families.
