Abdus Salam Centennial

In 2026, ICTP celebrates the centennial of its founder, Abdus Salam, who would have turned 100 on 29 January 2026. 
This short video was composed to commemorate Salam's centennial and the indelible impact he made in theoretical physics, science in the developing world, and science diplomacy.

Abdus Salam's belief in the universality of science inspired his scientific career as well as his strong commitment to the economical, political, environmental and moral issues of his time.
