In Côte d'Ivoire, women are often at the heart of local diversification and transformation. Their presence in the cocoa value chain is becoming increasingly noticeable, particularly through their desire to join forces to gain greater visibility and representation in the cocoa sector in Côte d'Ivoire. This has led to the creation of the National Federation of Women Coffee and Cocoa Producers of Côte d'Ivoire (FNFPCC-CI). Through our support for this federation, we aim to apply a transformative gender approach to the issue of decent income by strengthening women's capacities in cocoa processing and leadership and improving their level of professionalization.
