In order to effectively combat deforestation and infiltration in the northeastern part of the Mabi-Yaya Nature Reserve (Bettié area), it is necessary to support the communities living near this protected area in accepting its boundaries. In this context, GIZ, with the support of the NGO Nitidae, is carrying out activities aimed at supporting these communities with a view to adopting good agricultural practices that would contribute to the sustainability of the achievements in terms of measures to protect the Mabi-Yaya Nature Reserve, manage cocoa plots, and create added value for the benefit of the communities.
