This video highlights the World Water Day 2026 celebration in Mayange Sector, Bugesera District, under the theme “Water and Gender.” The event brought together community members, leaders, and partners to raise awareness on the importance of freshwater, promote gender equality in water management, and advocate for universal access to safe and affordable water. Through community discussions, shared experiences, and interactive activities, participants explored how lack of access to clean water disproportionately affects women and girls, impacting health, time, and dignity.
