The second interviewee that we are proudly presenting is Tamás Fejérdy!
As a renowned expert in the preservation of historic cities, Tamás Fejérdy served as Vice-President of ICOMOS from 2005 to 2008 and led the International Scientific Committee on Historic Towns and Villages (CIVVIH) from 1992 to 2002. In 2023, he received the prestigious ICOMOS Gazzola Prize for his outstanding contributions to the cultural heritage field.
In this video, Tamás Fejérdy discusses ICOMOS’ approach to historic cities and its efforts to protect World Heritage sites and many other forms of cultural heritage.
