Launch Event | Landscapes of Pastoralist Transhumance: A Thematic Approach
In 2024, ICOMOS launched the World Heritage Transhumance Initiative.
Led by ICOMOS in collaboration with Dövlət Turizm Agentliyi (State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan), this initiative aims to raise awareness of the cultural and historical value of transhumance.
The launch event of the Thematic Approach presents the collaborative journey and key messages of this flagship document.
