In Bangladesh, IDA Works To Increase Female Labor Force Participation

Women in Bangladesh face many hurdles to joining the labor force, including lack of skills and limited education, childcare responsibilities, concerns about safety outside the home and prevailing gender norms. IDA-supported programs provide on-the job training, life skills training and access to finance to help vulnerable women lead productive lives.
