The Economics of Health for All: Taking Action

19 May 2026, Geneva - As part of the 79th World Health Assembly WHA79 in Geneva, the United Nations University International Institute for Global Health (UNU-IIGH), in collaboration with Public Services International (PSI), Medicus Mundi International (MMI), the World Council of Churches, Oxfam, the Geneva Global Health Hub (G2H2), and the Government of Colombia, organized the hybrid side event “The Economics of Health for All: Taking Action”.
The event explored how governments can more actively steer innovation, investment, and public procurement to align with population health needs and equity objectives.
