Launch of the GT4Africa journal supplement: What does it take to operationalise gender-transformative approaches to improve SRMH rights and services in Africa? The journal supplement features eight peer-reviewed articles produced by the Gender Transformation for Africa (GT4Africa) cohort. Funded by IDRC between 2022 and 2025, the cohort supports seven implementation research projects across as many sub-Saharan African countries (Ghana, Niger, Nigeria, The Gambia, Burkina Faso, Malawi, South Africa). This webinar will facilitate an exchange of reflections and experiences, starting with a brief overview of the supplement, followed by a panel representing the authors who will offer lightning presentations summarising the research and key insights. Afterwards, a moderated discussion will commence with the panel around a few key questions. This will be followed by a Q&A session, allowing participants to exchange reflections and reactions based on the input. Members of the SOPH team, Steering Committee, and other cohort members will be invited to facilitate discussions or capture inputs for sharing with the cohort and beyond.
