On 16 April 2026, GNP+ hosted a dynamic sharing of the latest scientific breakthroughs from the Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) 2026, one of the world’s leading platforms for cutting-edge HIV research. This session explored emerging updates in the HIV science, including advances in long-acting therapies, emerging cure strategies, and new evidence shaping global policy and programming. Recent findings presented at CROI 2026 highlight a strong shift toward ultra-long-acting treatment and prevention options, alongside ongoing innovation in cure science and community-centered approaches.
