For almost 60 years, the Fonrose Community Centre has been a pillar of strength, unity, and growth in the Poole/Fonrose area. It’s where generations have come together 🤝, where young people have found their voice 📚, and where culture and community have thrived 🎭. Now, with the installation of a 5.3KW demonstration Solar PV system, Fonrose Village Council is embracing a cleaner, more sustainable future. This milestone GCCA+ Project installation was made possible through the support of the European Union, the Ministry of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development and the UNDP. ☀️🌍 The new system brings renewable energy to the Centre, helping to power daily activities while reducing costs and building climate resilience. It ensures that the heartbeat of the community continues to thrive for generations to come 💪🔋. This is more than solar power. It is solar power to the people. It is Fonrose, lighting the way forward.
