"Difference does not mean disagreement", says Manal Okaily, a mediator from #Lebanon. Her words, captured during a training for women mediators in June 2024, carry profound meaning today as war returns to Lebanon. Earlier this year, we trained Manal and 87 other women in #conflictresolution and #mediation through UN Women's "Women, Peace, and Security in the Arab States Phase III' project. Now, they are using these skills to meet the urgent needs of their communities during these challenging times: delivering aid, providing support, and coordinating emergency response efforts.
