War does not only take away homes. It takes away routines, friendships, familiar streets, and the small freedoms that make children and young people feel safe. For Mohamad, 18, displacement meant leaving behind the life he knew. Emergency cash assistance helps his family meet urgent needs, but his wish remains simple: to go back home.
