For many children with disabilities in #Lebanon, conflict means losing access to therapy, rehabilitation, and the services they depend on every day – with lasting consequences on their wellbeing and development. Through the National Disability Allowance #NDA, the Ministry of Social Affairs, the European Union, the International Labour Organization and UNICEF support over 40,000 persons with disabilities with monthly cash transfers. Among them, over 12,500 families including 19,000 children received urgent cash assistance when they needed it most. بالنسبة إلى حسين، جاء التقدّم الذي حقّقه خطوةً بعد خطوة. لكن الحرب قطعت مساره، وعرقلت وصوله إلى الرعاية التي كان يعتمد عليها لمواصلة التقدّم. بالنسبة للعديد من الأطفال ذوي الإعاقة في #لبنان، يعني النزاع فقدان الوصول إلى العلاج، وخدمات إعادة التأهيل، والرعاية اليومية الأساسية، ما قد يترك آثاراً طويلة الأمد على صحتهم ونموّهم ومستقبلهم. ومن خلال برنامج البدل النقدي للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، تدعم وزارة الشؤون الاجتماعية، والاتحاد الأوروبي، ومنظمة العمل الدولية، واليونيسف أكثر من 40,000 شخص من ذوي الإعاقة عبر تحويلات نقدية شهرية. ومن بينهم، تلقّت أكثر من 12,500 عائلة تضمّ 19,000 طفل مساعدات نقدية طارئة في الوقت الذي كانوا بأمسّ الحاجة إليها.
