The Community of Practice on reduction of methane emissions from organic sources in Latin America and the Caribbean (CoP MetLAC) organized this webinar to provide an understanding of the food loss and waste (FLW) landscape in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as its contribution to emissions mitigation, particularly methane. It also seeks to showcase specific FLW initiatives in the region, along with their opportunities and challenges. The Community of Practice MetLAC is a joint initiative by the Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP) and ImplementaSur, within the Recycle Organics project, and LEDS LAC Platform, with support from the Global Methane Hub.
