From May 27–29, 2025, the Global Partnership and Ghana Statistical Service convened data leaders, fellows, and innovators from across Africa in Accra for the Data Narratives for Climate and Health in Africa workshop. This immersive three-day learning and showcase event brought to life how data storytelling and visualization can unlock action on some of the continent’s most pressing climate and health challenges. Fellows of the Capacity Accelerator Network (CAN) presented their projects, explored user-centered design, and sharpened their visual storytelling skills alongside peers and partners.
