The Climate Cost - Mauritius Tourism
Mauritius loses metres of its coastline every year.
Despite adaptation measures, the rising temperatures, cyclones, and extreme weather events are becoming more frequent and intense over time, causing grave losses and damages.
This is not just an environmental issue.
It affects infrastructure, tourism and national GDP.
At #COP30, Mauritius stands with all small island developing states to call for dedicated financing to protect our coasts and sustain our economic stability.
