The/Nudge Institute’s Economic Inclusion Program works to enable lasting social and economic inclusion for multidimensionally poor households in India using the Graduation Approach. The Graduation Approach is a structured, time-bound intervention that supports households through a combination of basic needs assistance, livelihood training, asset transfers, financial literacy, life-skills development, and intensive coaching. Together, these elements help families move towards sustainable livelihoods and long-term resilience. Through direct implementation and as a technical partner to governments, the program currently operates across eight states in India, reaching some of the country’s most vulnerable communities.
