The roundtable brought together representatives from government, industry, academia, skill development institutions, civil society organizations, and the mobility sector to discuss pathways for building an inclusive and sustainable electric mobility ecosystem in India. Discussions focused on key themes such as accessible EV infrastructure, inclusive mobility systems, financing and affordability, skill development, workforce readiness, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities, gender-responsive mobility solutions, and policy support for equitable EV adoption. The event featured keynote and special addresses by eminent experts and practitioners, followed by technical sessions on inclusive EV adoption, livelihood opportunities, skills development, infrastructure readiness, and policy frameworks. The deliberations highlighted the importance of stakeholder collaboration, industry-aligned skilling initiatives, accessible mobility solutions, and awareness generation to ensure that India's EV transition remains equitable, inclusive, and future-ready.
