Goat Borrowing: A Community Practice to Reduce Poverty
This video highlights an innovative goat borrowing practice introduced by the FOSTER II project, aimed at supporting poor, widowed, and single women in the community. Led by the ward chairperson, the initiative allows beneficiaries to rear borrowed goats, improve their livelihoods, and eventually pass the goats on to others in need.
Through this sustainable and empowering approach, participants have been able to increase their income and foster a spirit of community support.
