Irrigation Makes a Difference

Chiniya shares her struggles of having to fetch water from the source at midnight just to support her farming activities.

She explains that having sufficient and quality seeds alone is not enough—without proper irrigation, crop production remains a challenge. Thanks to the FOSTER II project, the construction of irrigation ponds has made a real difference, enabling her and others in the community to cultivate vegetables more effectively.
