First Leaders’ Meeting of the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty

Prepare and Save the Date! The First Leaders’ Meeting of the Global Alliance Against Hunger and Poverty will take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) on November 3, as a part of, and on the eve of, the official opening of the Second World Summit for Social Development (Doha, November 4-6). This is the first meeting of the Global Alliance to be convened at the highest level since its launch at the G20 Summit in November 2024. It will review global progress towards the Alliance’s objectives, showcase the Alliance’s accomplishments during the past year, issue high-level guidance for the Alliance’s member and provide an opportunity for further commitments and momentum in the fight against hunger and poverty.
