📍 Zagreb, May 21 Between May 19–21, MFRR partner organisations are in Zagreb to address urgent threats to media freedom in Croatia. The mission highlights the need to implement the EU Anti-SLAPP Directive and the European Media Freedom Act (EMFA), following a report on legal and political pressures on journalists. Representatives from ECPMF, EFJ, IPI, ARTICLE 19 Europe, FPU, and OBCT are meeting with public authorities, media, and EU officials to push for stronger protections for journalists. 📩 Contact: mfrr@ecpmf.eu
