Over the past decade, Asia’s business and human rights landscape did not emerge by accident. It was built – through steady collaboration, sustained investment, and incremental commitments, not a single defining moment. The Architecture of Progress asks how expectations around responsibility, risk and accountability became part of everyday business decision-making across the region – and why this momentum was never guaranteed. The video introduces Stories of Progress and Possibility, a series marking ten years of work on business and human rights in Asia. Together, these stories trace how momentum took shape, how global ideas were adapted to local realities, and what was gained by investing early – and patiently. As economic transformation accelerates and new risks emerge, the agenda remains unfinished. What comes next will depend on the choices we continue to make – and invest in – together.
