Decoding Climate Finance: lessons and leverage ahead of COP30
This global dialogue examined how debt, tax, and fiscal policies shape the flow of climate finance, and what it will take to make it fair and just. Held ahead of COP30, the event explored how human rights and South–South collaboration can transform the way climate finance works.
As the climate crisis intensifies, global financial systems continue to prioritize profit over people and the planet. Organized by the Center for Economic and Social Rights (CESR) and La Ruta del Clima, this conversation drew on insights from their joint Decoding Climate Finance publication and the broader Decoding Injustice series.
