Found alone. Rescued, rehabilitated, released.
When this Cattle Egret (Agrett tal-Bhejjem) chick arrived at our wildlife rehab centre, it was weak and dehydrated after it was found alone in Burmarrad. With dedicated care, a suitable diet and plenty of time to grow stronger, it made a remarkable recovery.
Today, it's back where it belongs: free in the wild.
