The International Road Federation (IRF) - Official Account is pleased to introduce its Committee Chairs and Co-Chairs for 2026–2028. For the IRF Connected and Autonomous Mobility Committee, we have Professor Bin Ran from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Tom Alkim from MAPtm For the IRF Road Safety Committee, we have Prof.Dr.-Ing Youssef El Hansali from VITRONIC Machine Vision Middle East and Jimmy Liakos from the NTRO - National Transport Research Organisation For the IRF Traffic Management Committee, we have Dr. Jon Obenberger, Ph.D., P.E. from JTO Transport Consulting, LLC and Itir Coskun from SWARCO. Appointed by the IRF Executive Committee, these leaders will advance the work of our committees, bringing together international expertise from across IRF’s membership. These committees provide a platform for professionals to contribute to technical dialogue, exchange knowledge and help shape sector priorities. Together, the committees will play a central role in strengthening industry knowledge, informing policy discussions and advancing innovation across the global road and mobility sector, ensuring that practical expertise translates into lasting impact for inclusive, safe, green and efficient transport systems.
