The IAEA Director General was in Nairobi today as part of an ongoing trip across Africa to advance progress on his Rays of Hope initiative, to bring cancer care to those who need it most. Today Rafael Mariano Grossi met with the Kenyan Cabinet Secretary for Health Aden Duale and other key members of the government to discuss how the IAEA can continue to best support Kenya’s efforts to decentralize cancer care, with LINACs already delivered to Nakuru and Mombasa via Rays of Hope, and more to come.
