The World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought is focused on recognizing, respecting and restoring rangelands. When it comes to drought resilience, nuclear science has a particularly helpful tool: isotope hydrology. This amazing science helps governments find and understand the source of their water supplies – so they can develop management systems to reduce the risks of conflict and build resilience to drought.
