The IAEA is hosting the International Conference on Computer Security in the Nuclear World: Securing the Future from 11 to 15 May 2026 at the Agency’s headquarters in Vienna, Austria.
Building on the success of previous conferences held in 2015 and 2023, CyberCon26 brings together international organizations, industry, academia, operators, regulators and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen global cooperation on computer security in the nuclear sector. Serving as a global forum, the conference enables participants to exchange experiences, share emerging practices and discuss strategies to address evolving cyber threats affecting nuclear security and safety.
CyberCon26 focuses on securing the future through international collaboration, capacity-building and the development of resilient computer security frameworks. Discussions will explore emerging technologies, regulatory approaches, threats and risks, computer security by design, and the impact of new digital technologies on nuclear security and safety, helping ensure that the nuclear community remains prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.
