Health workers are the number one protection against outbreaks. As Uganda responds to the Ebola outbreak to prevent further spread, frontline health workers are standing strong. We at Seed Global Health are standing with them. In response to the current Ebola outbreak in Uganda - and to prevent further spread - we are providing infection prevention and control training, along with the necessary PPE, to ensure health workers feel confident in their ability to protect themselves and their patients. This crisis is a stark reminder that investing in health workers is investing in global security. A strong, well-trained health workforce is the best defense against pandemics, maternal mortality, and health emergencies like Ebola.
